This website is run by Folkingham Parish Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, users should be able to:

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some PDF documents published on the website may not contain appropriate document structure, including correctly marked headings, tables and reading order. This may make the documents difficult to navigate using a screen reader and may fail WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1: Information and Relationships.

Some PDF documents may not have meaningful link text or a descriptive document title. This may fail WCAG 2.2 success criteria 2.4.2: Page Titled and 2.4.4: Link Purpose.

We will improve the accessibility of documents when they are reviewed or replaced. When publishing new documents, we will use accessible formats wherever reasonably practicable and provide an accessible alternative on request.

Disproportionate burden

Folkingham Parish Council is not currently claiming that fixing any identified accessibility issue would impose a disproportionate burden.

It was last reviewed and updated on 20 September 2026.

The website was reviewed against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard on 20 September 2026. The review was a self-assessment undertaken by Folkingham Parish Council and included a review of representative web pages and documents. It was not a full technical accessibility audit.

This statement will be reviewed at least annually and following any substantial change to the website.
