Green Space and Playing Field 2026/27
Folkingham Parish Council are now accepting quotations for the grass cutting of the green spaces in the village and the playing field to cover the period from April 26 to March 27.
This document and maps within it detailing the areas in which the work is to be carried out and the frequency of the work schedule.
Areas to be quoted for cutting are marked in orange in the maps below. Those marked in yellow, and green are to be disregarded as these are cut by either SKDC or LCC.
Please note this includes mowing the whole playing field area too. If you could break the costs down separating out the playing field mowing and playground area from the rest of the village. This is because the field requires more regular mowing due to its usage.
In addition, could you please provide a separate quotation for cutting just the football pitch as there may be additional cuts required for this throughout the year due to the football field being hired out
We anticipate approximately 16 cuts to the playing field and 10 cuts for the remainder of the village including the play area, however this will be dependent on the weather and growing conditions.
Deadline for all quotations is no later than 12 noon on Friday 28th February 2026. Quotations should be sent directly to the Clerk of Folkingham Parish Council by post or email to the address above. Quotations received after this date will not be accepted.
ALL QUOTATIONS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING.
